Privacy
Our privacy policy.
The short version: we don't ask for your data, and we keep what little we see to a minimum.

What we collect
The Nutrition Desk has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter signup forms, and no comment system. You can read everything on this site without giving us any personal information. The only time you share anything with us directly is if you choose to email us at hello@thenutritiondesk.com — in which case we see your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply.
Analytics and advertising cookies
Like most websites, we use third-party tools to understand traffic and to measure whether people who arrive from an ad actually found the page useful:
- Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, what device they use. We use it to see which articles help people. Google's own privacy policy describes how it processes this data.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel records page views so that advertising run through Meta can be measured and attributed. It sets cookies and shares visit data with Meta under Meta's privacy policy.
You can block both with any standard content or tracker blocker, or by using your browser's privacy settings; the site works exactly the same without them.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies to credit the referral — that happens on their domain, under their privacy policy, not ours. Our disclosure page explains how those links work and where they appear.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal information — we don't hold any to sell.
- We don't run third-party ad networks or embed social media widgets that track you.
- We don't use your emails for marketing lists.
Your choices and rights
If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we'll delete it. Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA) you may have additional rights over data held by the third-party tools above; those requests go to Google or Meta directly, since we never see the raw data they collect.
Changes
If our practices change — a newsletter, new analytics, anything that touches your data — this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date at the top.
